How To Increase Traffic to Your Web Site and Build Backlinks For Free With the SeoQuake Toolbar

We've looked at numerous ways to increase traffic to your website using search engine optimisation and website optimisation with high traffic low competition keywords. We've also looked at some of the off site options available, such as social bookmarking and article sites.
There's also been some commentary on blog commenting to create backlinks. All of that used to be enough to get the ball rolling along nicely.
But since Google's LSI update things have changed a little, as I'm sure most people have noticed in one way or another. The update now means that your site has to show some signs of activity and the more the better. So there's been a lot of discussion in various places over the past few weeks about the most effective ways to achieve that.
In general all the recommendations are based around the same thing, namely, researching high quality and preferably high PR sites to link to. The recommended sites to generate the best web site traffic are dot gov, dot edu, dot com and dot org sites. But as was we've already discovered in the last article this isn't always a viable or even particularly effective option. You can view the article about that here.
Much has been said about Firefox and SeoQuake (though you can also use SeoQuake with Chrome now) and that's quite a good thing. The SeoQuake toolbar on its own is a huge source of information and has massive web site traffic potential. It analyzes a sites search engine optimisation tactics and website optimisation so that you can study what the top sites are doing. But it also gives you a massive amount of information with regard to indexed links and backlinks.
One of the best things about SeoQuake is its simplicity. It's very easy to read and use. That makes it so much more appealing as a search engine optimisation tool and makes it easier and less fraught to build what you've learnt into your own website optimisation ideas. You can literally see what the top sites on Google are doing, the keywords they're using and where there web site traffic comes from.
That is the main point of everything. If you can see all of the information about how the top sites get ranked then you can emulate that. You can't literally just copy it directly (well actually you probably could but it's unlikely to work in the same way for you) but you can use it as a guide for your own web site and to build your traffic.
However one of the things you can copy directly is the backlink sites. Consider this: you can see exactly how the top sites on Google are using backlinks, where the links are, how much traffic they generate and even whether they're No Follow. How much web site traffic do you think you could generate just from that single snippet of information? The potential could be massive if you're prepared to put in the research time and do a bit of work.
So that's where we are next, looking at how to get high quality, highly relevant backlinks that are relative to your site content.
